The solution is as the name indicates a service which is hosted externally. This means that your do not need to purchase servers, software and worry about maintenance of the filter. Every time an email is sent to your domain, it will be analyzed and filtered in the ScanMailX servers before sent to you. There is not significant form of delay as the entire filter process only takes a few seconds and your users nor customer can see that the email has been scanned.
