This test will check a domain or an IP address reputation up against 88 different DNS based blacklists. These blacklists are often referred to as Realtime Blacklists, DNSBL or RBL. If your server is listed, then its very likely that some of your sent emails will never be received by the intented receipient. Blacklists are a very often used method to reduce spam and is also being used by ScanMailX.

All domains which are registered at ScanMailX are automatically daily being checked by our Server Reputation Monitor against all these blacklists. If found listed an notification email is sent out to the registered user. Furthermore, ScanMailX will conduct regular SMTP checks of the registered mail server and provide alerts in form of email or SMS messages in case we notice the server is down or detect that it acts as open relay.
